OBJECTIVE

The objective of the 1st Workshop on Water Resource Management in Smart and Connected Communities is to: 1) bring stakeholders of three communities (Water municipals, Agricultures, Oil&Gas industries) together; 2) connect regional experts in academia and industry and help create an interconnected community working towards the common goal of improving water supply resilience; 3) gain a better understanding of existing critical and common problems in the water science domain, current approaches, practices, and future needs among community members; 4) encourage discussion and idea exchange between all stakeholders, advance collaborations; 5) understand data and smart technologies for better water planning at both short and long-term.
